I was always thankful for the fact that I lived in a country where I was able to at least manage to obtain to the basic necessities to survive. Although numerous people struggle with money as I once did, and lack the possessions that most would call standard, true poverty in America has virtually been eliminated. Poverty in America is too drastic and puts a toll onto the economy in multiple ways. Poverty is a epidemic that separates classes and destroys families all over the U.S. It creates bad visions upon others that looks at the poor on street corners and assume the worst of how that person became to sit or live in that cardboard box or street corner and what types of drugshe ran through to be put in that situation. Although not most people create titles upon the weak,but a great number of everyday Americans despise the lower class which then fore creates a division among classes, big part of the reason is poverty.
